I’m best known for “Mr. Miss Universe,” GQ’s profile of my life of working with the world’s most beautiful women while serving as a lawyer on some of the most hard-fought corporate battles/deals of our time. I’ve dedicated more than a decade of my life to each, and found them both to be exhilarating, exhausting and at times existentially perplexing.
A One-Stop Shop
I’m a believer that most fun things in life require a license of some sort, which probably explains all the paper I’ve been collecting. In addition to nine years at Stanford (BA and MBA) and Yale (JD), I’m a CPT (NASM), CPR/AED-certified (Red Cross), notary public (NY), real estate broker (NY) and AJP (Gemological Institute of America). Call me your one-stop shop for all your legal, business, fitness and colored gemstone crises.
For the Love of the Sell
A lifelong passion for modern luxury and the ever-changing ways in which we relate to the brands we love and covet took me to Milan and London in 2016, where I worked for the YOOX Net-A-Porter Group: the leading online luxury retailer. In Milan, I undertook strategic and business development analyses and hiring matters on behalf of Federico Marchetti, Group CEO, and his office. At Mr Porter in London, I assisted in the relaunch of the Style Council (marketing/influencer platform) and evaluation of high-value customers.
I’ve also had the privilege of working with numerous brands in legal, social, business partnership and events-based roles, ranging from Dolce & Gabbana and Diageo to Carmen Marc Valvo and Orlebar Brown.
Jeff Works Out x Equinox
It’s the gym that kept me going through long years on the road for Wall Street deals and international beauty queens, and it’s where I became inspired to become a NASM-certified personal trainer. I’ve journeyed across 44+ cities and 3 countries, clocking in ~30,000 miles in my quest to be the first to work out at all 90+ locations. From LA to London, from Midtown to Miami, from Westlake Village to Williamsburg…I will not be denied!
